Welcome to Landesegen Farm, where agriculture meets a commitment to regenerative practices and holistic, organic standards. Nestled across 35 acres of pristine mountainside, our farm is more than just a place that produces rotisserie chickens, eggs from happy hens, and succulent pork. It’s a testament to our dedication to sustainable farming that nourishes both the land and those who savor the fruits of its bounty.
On our farm, we’ve embraced the regenerative farming ethos. It’s not just a practice for us; it’s a way of life. Our commitment extends to holistic, organic standards that prioritize the health of the soil, the welfare of our animals, and the well-being of our customers.
Our roaster chickens are a celebration of both flavor and ethical farming. Raised in a stress-free environment, our chickens are moved twice per day on luscious pasture, indulging in a diet rich in the native pests, and locally grown grains from Waymart Milling. This results in meat that not only tastes better, but also carries a higher Omega 3 profile, while being ethically and humanely raised.
Our egg laying hens are the heart of the farm. They graze on nutrient-rich pastures, producing large white and brown eggs that are a testament to the quality of their environment. We believe in giving our hens the freedom to express their natural behaviors, and in return, they gift us with eggs of unparalleled freshness and flavor.
Our commitment also extends to the pork we produce. Raised with care and respect, our pigs thrive in an environment that prioritizes their well-being. This ensures the pork we offer is not just a culinary delight but a reflection of our dedication to sustainable farming practices.
When purchasing a half or whole pig, our customers unlock a treasure trove of diverse. From succulent, thick pork chops to savory sausages and mouthwatering bacon (nitrate free!), the array of options allows for creativity in every meal.
Purchasing pork in bulk not only ensures a freezer stocked with premium, high-quality meat but also presents significant value for the savvy consumer. Beyond the immediate convenience of a well-stocked freezer, investing in larger quantities supports local farmers practicing sustainable, ethical methods. It’s a journey that transforms the everyday into an extraordinary celebration of flavor, sustainability, and the satisfaction of knowing where your food comes from.

We understand that the health of the soil is fundamental to the success of our farm. That’s why we’ve embraced no till gardening and crop rotation. By minimizing soil disturbance and strategically rotating our crops, we foster soil health, encourage biodiversity, and create a sustainable ecosystem that benefits both the land and the produce it yields. This also reduces soil runoff and nutrient depletion, promoting long-term fertility and resilience.
This holistic approach to growing not only enhances the quality of our produce but aligns with our dedication to environmental stewardship. We firmly believe that a thriving farm is built on a foundation of healthy, nutrient-rich soil, and our practices reflect our unwavering commitment to nurturing the land that sustains us. Through no till gardening, crop rotation, and rotational grazing, we aim not only to provide our customers with exceptional products but to leave a positive impact on the environment, creating a sustainable cycle that benefits both the present and future generations.
In our rotational grazing system, each pasture is given the invaluable gift of time to recover and rejuvenate. This intentional rest period allows the grasses and forage to bounce back, promoting a lush and nutrient-dense landscape.
As our livestock moves through carefully planned grazing cycles, they not only enjoy a varied diet but also play a crucial role in the natural fertilization of the pastures. The symbiotic relationship between our animals and the land they graze on enhances soil structure, increases organic matter, and fosters a diverse ecosystem beneath the surface.
This not only results in healthier and more vibrant pastures but also showcases the transformative power of rotational grazing in maintaining a sustainable and regenerative farming environment.
Did you know that haying fields twice per year helps to play a pivotal role in the rejuvenation and maintenance of any farm’s landscape?
Harvesting the grasses not only prevents them from becoming overgrown but also stimulates new growth, encouraging a healthier, more robust pasture. The process of haying helps manage weed control, promotes the diversity of native plant species, and contributes to overall soil health.
Are you a local farmer with haying equipment looking for a mutually beneficial arrangement? We have fertile fields ready for harvest but lack the equipment to do so. In exchange for your haying expertise, we offer you the product of your labor – free hay bales/squares, whatever equipment you provide. Let’s join hands to cultivate our fields and share in the bounty of a thriving, sustainable farming community. Interested? Let’s talk!
